It doesn't surprise her that it piques his interest-- even if it's just a piece of trivia, it's trivia he didn't figure out on his own. And privately, she rather likes even that moment of having the upper hand. People might call him Spooky, but no one disagrees that Fox Mulder is pretty brilliant; she could tell he thought he had her wholly figured out from the beginning, so it's nice to have a card up her sleeve, no matter how unimportant.
